Torres-Garcia, 2003-04, Museo Picasso, Barcelona.
A monographic exhibition surveys the career of artist and theoretician Joaquín Torres-García, a contemporary of Picasso in Barcelona and an influential writer on the language of twentieth-century art.
A wide selection of works illustrates his journey, the renewed vision of classical tradition from which Constructive Universalism Constructive grew. His stylized symbols rooted in tangible reality and gave rise to a new artistic language.
